What are RefinedByJV button covers made of?

The base of each piece - and select full designs - is crafted from brass, an intentional choice long used in fine jewelry and luxury accessories. Brass offers a satisfying weight, maintains its shape over time, and resists bending or warping with regular wear. It reflects light beautifully and will not snag or damage garments.

Depending on the design, additional elements may include high-quality resin, acrylic, or enamel detailing, as well as carefully selected decorative finishes such as  decorative pearls or stones. Each material is chosen to balance durability with a refined, elevated aesthetic.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 14 business days of confirmed order delivery. To initiate a return, you must contact us by email first so we can guide you through the process.

We currently ship to Canada, the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Greece.

We ship from Vancouver, Canada.

For international orders, customs duties are included.

When will my order ship?

Most orders are fulfilled the same day they are placed and shipped the same or next business day. It might take a little longer if it is a holiday or a weekend but we always strive to process and ship an order as soon as possible. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been shipped.

Where can I purchase RefinedByJV button covers?

They are available through our website. Each collection is carefully curated and released in limited quantities, with new designs introduced regularly. In addition, you can find our product in some Lower Mainland boutiques in British Columbia - refer to Where To Find Us page. 

What sizes of buttons do your button covers fit?

Our 17 mm button covers are designed to fit most standard shirt buttons, typically ranging from approximately 10 mm to 13.8 mm in diameter. This makes them ideal for classic shirts and blouses.

Some designs may also be available in a smaller 15 mm diameter, which are best suited for shirt buttons up to approximately 9–10 mm in size.

For the most accurate fit, each product page includes the exact button cover diameter - we recommend checking the description before purchasing.

Do these button covers fit blazers and coats?

Our button covers are designed for standard shirt and blouse buttons. Most blazer and coat buttons are larger and thicker, which makes them incompatible with our current designs.

We designed a custom pin that comes with each set of button covers to turn your button cover into a pin/brooch to use with your favorite layers that do not have buttons. 

Will they damage my shirts?

No. Our button covers are designed to be gentle on fabrics. The inner mechanism is smooth and carefully constructed to avoid pulling, snagging, or leaving marks on your garments.

Will you release new designs?

Yes! RefinedByJV is built around thoughtful, evolving collections. New designs will be introduced regularly, each in limited quantities.
